What receiving assistance means
Administrative assistance means helping you with the procedure agreed for your case. It does not make the centre the DGT or guarantee a decision, an official deadline or approval of an application.
A medical certificate, when needed, is a separate service. In particular, for an exchange of a foreign licence it is useful to distinguish the medical visit from the administrative procedure.
The centre's procedures
You can enquire about duplicates after theft or loss; updates to personal details, including those connected with changing an NIE to a DNI or with marriage or divorce; international permits; and exchanges of foreign licences.
Assistance is also available for registering and requesting a registration plate for personal mobility vehicles such as electric scooters. Before the procedure begins, the part of the process you need and the documents to be reviewed must be agreed.
Useful information for your first enquiry
Describe the reason for the procedure and the document or vehicle it concerns. If it involves a foreign licence, state the issuing country. If a personal detail is changing, explain which one without attaching identity documents to the form.
Ask for a quotation that distinguishes the administration fee from any applicable charges. The team will explain which documents it needs to check and the next steps.
